Luckily you don’t have to see it, so let’s get on to these adorable Free Printable Monkey Valentines.

Wood Slice Ornament Banners
I have always been a little obsessive about the Christmas tree. I have a color scheme and style that I want to focus on. I usually don’t change my decorations from year to year, but every few years I do switch things out as I get bored. Before we had kids, we had a sparkly blue, purple and silver tree, full of glass baubles and all things fabulously breakable! I would put up the tree and decorate it all by myself. Everything was perfectly placed. I would evaluate every ornament with the lights on, then with the lights off. See, totally obsessive. I even decorated the back of the tree perfectly. But then I had kids…
DIY Wood and Steel Serving Tray
These last couple weeks I’ve been a little MIA. I am still not back to my regular self after getting sick last week. I thought I was feeling better on Monday, but then after using a ton of energy cleaning up gallons of water from a broken washing machine, I was down again.
I ended up taking two naps on Tuesday and another on Wednesday, and I do not nap. Usually if I nap, I cannot go to sleep at night so I avoid it. This week, I had no problems going to sleep earlier then normal even after my naps.
I guess I need to take it easy for a bit more. But I did manage to finish one project so I am excited to share it with you. In preparation for the parties and food with the upcoming holidays, I made a simple, but beautiful wood and steel serving tray.

Watercolor Thank You Cards
Raising kids is fun. It helps you to see all the things you are doing wrong! Okay, maybe not wrong, but I have noticed as we are trying to teach our kids to be grateful and say “Thank you” whenever someone does something for them, that adults don’t say “Thank you” very much. My mommy-radar is so honed in on asking “Please” and saying “Thank you” that I actually find myself correcting other grown ups! Ha ha. My husband is sick of me saying “You forgot to say Please!”
