These fun Christmas trees are larger than a standard table top tree. I love them on a console table or hearth.

Made from a sheet of inexpensive 1/4″ plywood, you will want an entire forest of beautiful Christmas trees to put everywhere.

The intricate tree shapes are cut out with a CNC or scroll saw and glued together. Have fun staining them traditional or non-traditional colors. I think they would be beautiful in golds and silvers!

I needed a few more Christmas trees to create a forest of trees on my mantel one year, so I grabbed some reclaimed wood and built these fun trees from 1x2s.

These easy tabletop trees are so fun and quick to make, you will want a bunch for your mantel, tablescape, or vignettes and more!

From collars to ornaments, you can have fun making beautiful Christmas tree decorations from wood.

DIY Wooden Christmas Tree Collar

DIY tree collar for a Christmas tree made out of wood.

My new favorite tree skirt is not a skirt at all! Instead, I opted for a wood Christmas tree collar.

This fun build uses a variety of quick homemade jigs to cut and drill holes in all the boards. I even designed 2 different sizes so you can use it for a compact or large Christmas tree.

But my favorite part is that the collar folds flat for storage, saving lots of space in my Christmas decor boxes.

How to make a Wood Christmas Tree Stand

Base of the Christmas tree covered with a wooden tree skirt made from reclaimed wood.

Ditch the tree skirt and build a wooden Christmas tree stand instead. It’s the perfect way to hide the base of your tree and raises it up a bit to make more space for presents.

I built my Christmas tree stand from reclaimed 1×2 boards, but you can use any 1x2s. And when Christmas is over, use the box to store away decor until next year.

If you love Christmas villages but don’t have room for them, these Christmas house ornaments are the next best thing.

I had so much fun making these different houses from scraps of wood and paint stirrers.

Get the kids involved and have fun with them. You could also decorate them to look like gingerbread houses, the ideas are endless.

My kid’s favorite Christmas decor is this beautiful North Pole mailbox for their letters to Santa. They love having a place to drop their Christmas letters each year.

While this may look like a complicated build, it is not. All the fun detail is added with a few pieces of trim to turn a boring wooden box to something magical.

Double Sided Wood Sign for Fall & Christmas

Double-sided wood sign. One sign with Hayrides sign for fall and the other side with Christmas tree farm sign for winter.

If you don’t have a lot of space for decor, why not make it work for 2 different seasons?

That is what I did with this easy to build double sided sign. The inside is centered in the frame so it looks perfect from either side. Then I decorated it for fall and Christmas.

I love using the Christmas tree farm sign next to all my table top Christmas trees for a fun vignette.
